At elevations of 1,800 meters, our coffee cherries ripen slowly under the tropical sun. Each cherry is hand-selected at peak ripeness by skilled farmers who have perfected this craft over generations. Only the finest make the cut.
The beans rest on raised African beds, basking in the sun for weeks. This natural drying process locks in complex sugars and develops the subtle fruity notes that define COBA's signature profile. Time is our secret ingredient.
Inside the roasting drum, temperatures climb to 230°C. The beans crack, expand, and transform from pale green to deep chocolate brown. Our master roasters listen for the first crack — the moment flavor is born from fire.
